Yesterday very early found me heading out to photograph an assignment for a magazine for a story I am also writing. This is the kind of assignment I would very happily do even it they were not paying me (don’t tell).
I drove by a barn with a horse near it and fog, some nice sky, and Mount Sunapee in the background. I decided I had time to turn around and see if there was a nice photo there. When I got back I walked across a short stretch of very wet grass and the horse was gone.
But seconds later a horse was there.
Then soon five ran through the scene. I shot madly away. Based on the EXIF data my camera recorded, all this happened in 66 seconds … and then they were gone.
