On Thursday a friend and I toured some spots in Groton State Forest in Vermont then looped back through Peacham. The foliage colors were excellent in Groton State Forest and a few spots in Peacham, but most of the Peacham area still had a way to go. It is definitely a late foliage season this year.
We arrived at Groton Falls while the falls were still in shade and somewhat misty. After working them for a bit, the sun broke through and I got the photo below.
