I was told of a pileated woodpecker nest in Lyme so I headed there early the next morning. In 2 hours I only saw one feeding which lasted a few seconds. A few days later the folks who found the nest cavity no longer saw the young birds. Looks like I got there just before they fledged. Here are a few photos.
