Recently I spent a few hours on several days trying to photograph flying yard birds. This was a follow-up to more extensive posts of birds in motion from last January and Phoebes flying from April.
It was snowing when I took many of the photos. You can see snow in the photo of a Tufted Titmouse below and in many other photos on this page.
The real treat this week was a visit by two Pine Siskin for about an hour. I never before appreciated the beauty of their bright yellow feathers that are rarely seen.
Once I was lucky enough to get two birds in the same photo and both reasonably sharp.
Of the four species I photographed, I found the White-breasted Nuthatch the most challenging.

It was a nice way to avoid doing what I should have been doing.
