An unusual visitor has been hanging out in Woodstock, VT for several days—a beautiful glossy ibis. Often seen on the coast and sometimes on Lake Champlain, it is not a normal visitor to the area near Mount Tom. But the flooded fields along Route 12 seemed to provide good feeding—worms appeared to be a big favorite. Here is a brief slide show of some of the photos I took today.
