Friday evening, September 6, 2013, I set up my camera to shoot a time lapse of the Milky Way. There were a few more clouds than I hoped, but their motion in the opposite direction as the Milky Way provided a nice effect. I started shooting when the sky was still blue at 8:27 pm and ended at 11:11 pm. The 10 second time lapse video here covers the 2 hour period from about 8:50 to 10:50. You can click the small box at the lower right to see it full frame and then hit Esc to return to normal view.
The ridgeline to the left in the video is Mount Sunapee. The streaks are much more likely to be airplanes or satellites than meteors.
For those who care about such things, the editing was done in Adobe Camera Raw (hosted by Bridge) and the video was created in Photoshop CS6.
