Saturday I led my Photo—SLR class on a walking tour of Woodstock, VT. We did a slow loop through town photographing whatever we fancied and hopefully learning in the process. We fancied dogs a lot, and we met some cute ones with friendly owners along the way. I was carrying two cameras so I could quickly switch between a very wide angle view and a telephoto magnifying a portion of the scene. It was fun photographing a few of the dogs up very close with a wide angle lens. But one I approached too quickly and the dog reacted. Here are some of the dogs I photographed.
