Lower Shaker Wildlife Management Area

Not an area I normally bird, but the few times I have visited the Lower Shaker WMA I have found some nice species.  I’ll have to go back more often.  It is located in Enfield along Route 4A just south of the Shaker Museum across from Landing Road.  A long driveway leads to a parking area and numerous trails. I have mostly birded between the parking area and the West Meadow Barn, constructed in 1856, located to the right of the entrance road.
