Kezar Lake area

The birding area around Kezar Lake in Sutton includes a very nice 3-mile walk around the lake with side trips up Harvey Road to Muster Field Farm (a must-visit spot) and Wadleigh Hill Road south to the bridge over the Lane River.  So the birding is spread out, but the walking is very nice.

There are views of Mounts Kearsarge and Black across Kezar Lake from Penacook Road.

At Muster Field Farm there are many old barns you can explore — just open the doors and walk in — and a nice small farm stand.  Say “hi” to Steve for me.

Look for Bald Eagles near the lake, warblers along the roads, and bobolinks at the farm.
