Barbers and their shops can be fascinating. I photographed several for Upper Valley Life and some of those images follow. But first here is my favorite barber shop image taken through a window in Escazu, Costa Rica. Children were getting their haircut before the start of the school year. One child was angelic; another had to be bodily restrained.
