Star Lake Farm is a large, beautiful area conserved by the Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust. Here are some panoramic images I took during a winter hike on the farm and Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway Trail 4. Since I wanted to keep up with the small group I was with, I didn’t take a tripod, so all of these were made handheld. They are composed of 10 to 17 images each. You can zoom way in and pan around. You can double click to zoom way in and use the left mouse to pan around. You can also use the + and – keys to zoom and the arrow keys to scroll. Please wait for the resolution to download.
The first image shows the sugar bush immediately below the sugar house as the land slopes down to the lake.
The image below is from the Y-junction of Star Lake Road and SRKG Trail 4. SRKG4 heads off in the top left of the image and Dan is snowshoeing ahead along Star Lake Farm Road toward the sugar house.
The panorama below shows the two directions of Star Lake Farm Road in one image. The road is actually straight at this point. That is Gerry our leader in the center.
