The largest uninhabited island reachable by car on the east coast is rarely visited. Here are two slide shows of photos I took during a two and a half day photo assignment for Down East magazine. Nine of these photos were published in the June, 2009 issue.
These photos were taken mid-May. The colorful budding trees almost makes it look like fall.
