Jann and I visited Milwaukee twice in recent years. In mid-November 2013 after I rafted through the Grand Canyon and in late-September 2014 as we headed home from a driving trip to Montana. In 2013 many of the Simmer Truck patrons were athletes in town for a roller derby. When we visited in 2014 the Cafe was still under construction.

Jennifer and Steve interacted very well with their customers.

But mostly Jann and Jennifer served as the “up-front men”.

They occasionally had help from an older friend.
