Pompy Oxbow Is south of Route 132 and Kendall Station Road along Route 5 in Norwich. One can park by the side of the road just north of Town Highway 99. Cross the RR tracks to this series of planted fields between Route 5 and the Connecticut River.
At times the area is filled with Sunflowers.
I have birded here only a few times, but I have seen some nice birds. It is a great spot for sparrows.
