Morningside Farm

Morningside Farm is along Morningside Lane off Route 11 in North Charleston near Morningside Flight Park.  The extensive hayfields and grasslands in this area are used by tow planes, hang gliders, paragliders, paramotor fliers, farmers, and grassland birds.  It is the only reliable spot in the Upper Valley for Eastern Meadowlarks that I know of.

 

Since Eastern Meadowlarks are so beautiful and rare, I start with six photos of them before showing photos of other species found along this short stretch of road.
