On the day of our arrive, actually April 30, we drove to the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon on the south coast. The light was dull, but the glaciers were colorful.

On the second day we drove east to Hofn. This is a beautiful town with an amazing golf course and a very well-sheltered harbor. It is supposedly the lobster capital of Iceland. This is a view looking west from Hofn.

Six days into our trip found us on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. We hiked the bird cliffs between Hellnar and Arnarstrapi. Below is a view of home in a beautiful location on the edge of the tiny village of Arnarstrapi.
