Boston Lot Creeper

A loud and emphatic house wren greeted me when I arrived early in the morning at Boston Lot Lake. Not to be outdone a flicker sounded off repeatedly. But the highlight of the excursion was a brown creeper that worked it way up several trees at the perimeter of the field just before the lake.

On the way down a Common Yellowthroat was working the area below the power lines.
