White Clouds — Blue Sky

After all the rain this summer, the last two weeks have featured some beautiful blue skys filled with white clouds. Below is a time-lapse video I made with my iPhone. It was very easy to do. Set the phone up on a tripod, make a few settings in an inexpensive app, trigger it and wait, and it is done.

At the bottom of this post is a time-lapse video I made with a DSLR, my first experiment with this technique. It took  a lot more effort and at web quality one really can’t see much of a quality difference.

Here are some photos that I took in the last two weeks. Locations are Sunapee, Sutton, Stoddard, and Washington, NH and Westmore, VT.

Here is the short DSLR experimental video I promised. If you look closely it ends with rain hitting my lens.
