I’m back, and so is my web site.
I was away for four days and during that time my web site host, Blue Host, messed up a migration to a “new high performance server” and, as a result, my site was “suspended”. So while I was in Maine photographing migrating birds and enjoying Monhegan Island, no one could visit my site. Blue Host finally got it fixed Monday morning.
The trip was sponsored by the Vermont Center for Ecostudies. We stayed at the Monhegan House which was directly across from the Monhegan Community Church seen in the photo here. Behind it you can see a bit of the Monhegan House and above it the Milky Way. We were fortunate to have great weather for our trip.
A future blog post will report on the trip and contain photos of the many birds and butterflies we saw.
