I checked out the progress of fall foliage color east of Hanover, NH yesterday. Since this area has numerous wetlands, the color is often good early as the swamp maples turn. I took Route 4A east to Cilleyville (Andover) then looped back along Route 4. The colors were well short of “peak” but I got a preview of fall. Here are some of the photos I took yesterday morning within a few miles of Rts 4 and 4A in the towns of Wilmot, Springfield, Enfield, Danbury, and Canaan.
