Hanover Circle Wildflowers

A few years ago Hanover created two small traffic circles along Route 10, mainly to slow traffic past the new Middle School. One is now filled with a beautiful mixture of wildflowers as I discovered on a recent bike loop from Etna to Lyme to Hanover and back.

These photos were made with an LX7 compact camera. It fits nicely in a tiny pouch on the crossbar of my bike when it isn’t around my neck and shoulder. It has a 24-90mm, f/1.4 lens that focuses to less than a half inch, so it is  great for wide macro shots with limited depth of field.
